Digging Your Bible is an independent ministry. We take the bible at its word, a completely reliable source of history. Founded by an archaeologist, we examine faith, history and uncover biblical truths.
Thank you for visiting and clicking to learn more about us. We hope you enjoy learning about anthropology, archaeology, history, and the Bible.
Since its formation in March of 2017, Digging Your Bible has grown from a small YouTube channel featuring commentary on biblical topics, to in-person events (starting in Dec. 2019) with an ever-growing travelling museum, interactive demonstrations, children’s activities, unique giveaways, and more.
Even after the delayed launch of in-person events due to 2020, Digging Your Bible has been the keynote feature for outreach seminars, sermons, VBS, Prayer Weeks, and literature distribution efforts.
Digging Your Bible has travelled to churches, schools, and community centers across Arkansas, D.C., Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
We hope to add to this list and continue spreading the word of God to as many people as possible.
Katrina attended Griggs International Academy (a division of Andrews University) before earning an A.A. in General Science and a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Maryland. A majority of her studies have been focused on archaeology (a subfield of anthropology), ancient history, and biological sciences. She has participated in excavations at historic sites on the East Coast, and enjoys fossil hunting in her free time.
Researching biblical history and science for nearly twenty years, Katrina created Digging Your Bible as a way to share knowledge on biblical topics as they relate to the physical evidences seen around the world today. She’s eager to demonstrate how science and archaeology can be used to explore the Bible.
She is always looking for new ideas and archaeological/scientific discoveries to incorporate into the programs. Her goal is to make learning informative and fun by bringing history to life for audiences in a way that they will never forget. To quote one attendee, “I’ve never seen anything like it before!”
We base our faith on the Bible. Here are some of our beliefs.
